20% Time Checkpoint Assignment
Due April 11, 2016

Identify 4 elements that you have completed on your 20% Time project since the Idea Showcase in February. (All blog posts count as “one” element). State where the evidence is to mark it as completed.

Identify at least 3 tasks you want to/need to complete to keep your project moving forward or get to your end product. (long-term goals)

Reflect upon the progress you’ve made by answering these questions/prompts
  1. Have you accomplished what you set out to do so far?
  2. Write about your successes and failures so far.
  3. Write about what you want to do in the next 3 weeks and if it is possible. (short-term goals)
  4. Explain in depth what do you need to do to accomplish those 3 tasks (short-term goals).

Please create a stand-alone visual presentation (Google Presentation, Animoto, WeVideo, etc) that will show all who watch what you have accomplished and the direction in which your project is moving.  Your presentation needs to be thorough enough that it needs no explanation from you in order for the viewer to understand and should answer all questions stated above.

This is a GRADED assignment based not on the presentation itself but

We have done material testing - Andrew shot different types of material with a gun we have pictures on Andrew’s phone as well as material before and after on my blog: http://thenewsuitandrews.blogspot.com/

We have changed our designed and pursued it - We have changed from hydraulics to an engine we have proof from Andrew’s dad if you need it we can get him to write a note with a signature

We have built a model of the knee joint it’s in Mr. Eckert's class, as well as presenting it to triumph systems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We need to meet with the engineers that Andrew's dad knows so they can help us, we have presented the idea but we haven’t expanded a ton on it.

Make attachment points for the electric motors.

Attach motors and tie rods, test and fine tune the final products
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have successfully changed our design
We have talked to the engineers but not personally
We have blogged successfully almost every week
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Successes-
Changed our design
Blogged every week
Gotten an idea for how we are going to make our final product
Failures/SetBacks-
We haven’t been able to meet the engineers personally yet
Our model has been broke twice (kinda our fault)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We want to meet the engineers
We want to get our first material
We want to get close to a design
We want to get together and work on our project more
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have to really set a due date and really be serious about this
We have to order it as soons as possible
We need to accomplish the first goal

We need to be serious and really think about the future of our project
